#london-en is the English room for people who live in London, work there, study there or are about to move. From Camden to Croydon and from Hackney to Hammersmith, choose a nickname and join the conversation, free and without registration. London has a large French community, so you may also meet French people who want to practise their English.

Ask where to find a decent flat share without spending half your salary, which line to avoid at rush hour, or where to get a good curry, a Sunday roast or a quiet pint. Share free things to do: museums, parks, markets, a walk along the South Bank. People arriving from France or elsewhere can ask about Oyster cards, bank accounts and the best areas to start in.

The room is open to everyone, including people who simply love the city. If it is quiet, leave a question and come back later: the community is just starting. Never share your address in public, and if you meet someone from the chat, choose a busy public place and tell a friend.
